This spindleless peeling machine efficiently transforms logs into veneer sheets. The log is rotated by the transmission system, and the friction between the knife and the log drives the cutting process. 

As the knife applies pressure, the log is gradually peeled into thin face or thick core veneer layers.

The lathe adjusts the feed speed of the knife according to the changing diameter of the log: slower at the start when the log is large, and faster as the log becomes thinner. This ensures smooth and consistent veneer thickness, making it ideal for producing quality plywood core veneers. The automatic knife adjustment system optimizes the timber veneers cutting precision, ensuring a high-quality veneer surface throughout the peeling process.

 Our 2-in-one veneer peeling and cutting machine eliminates the need for an external rotary veneer cutting machine. It is specifically designed for peeling a wide range of hardwoods and softwoods, such as eucalyptus, pine, poplar, birch, rubberwood, and maple, with a diameter range of 30mm to 500mm (customizable up to 700mm).

 

With its pressure-adjusting structure, this machine ensures uniform veneer peeling, regardless of wood type or diameter. The integration of a frequency inverter and servo motor enables precise control of peeling speed, significantly improving the veneer working efficiency, smoothness, and uniformity.

 

This peeler machine  heavy-duty structure frame includes a 90mm alloy bigger diameter feed screw and dovetail guide rail for enhanced stability, reduced noise, and higher precision. For further working performance improvements, an optional linear guide rail upgrade is available to achieve even better veneer quality.

 

To develop the durability and service longevity, use laser-cut the thick steel plates to reinforce the machine's frame and knife carrisge. The machine primary components and spare parts are precision-treated in a CNC machining center to ensure surface flatness and structural integrity. Additionally, the rotary peeling lathe single and double rollers are made from high-strength 40CR steel, featuring precision-engraved patterns with hardened and tempered surfaces to maximize the wear resistance and log hold friction during peeling.
